Lock in the lowest price Windows 7
Scour the web and drive all over town, or you can visit this site and find the lowest price on the New Window 7 Operating System. The bottom line is this
Until July 11th, 2009 selected merchants are offering pre-order prices on Windows 7 of up to 58% off. My recommendation is Amazon for several reasons.
- No sales tax – that’s a 6-8.5% savings right there.
- If for any reason the price goes down between the time you pre-order and they actually ship your Windows 7, they will charge you the lowest price guaranteed and automatically. I’ve pre-ordered many items with them before, and they always credit my account to the lowest price.
- If you are an Amazon Prime member, you get free 2-day shipping.
Costco has slashed their price by $5, that means that a $99.99 upgrade costs $95 at Costco. If you figure in the cost of gas, sales tax and time – I would still order through Amazon, but if you are one of those people who prefer going to a bricks and mortar building – Costco is the choice for you. Costco Has Discontinued this offer.
If you are not an early adopter and would like to wait a while but still want to save on Windows 7, no worries, buy Vista. Microsoft will upgrade you to Windows 7 for $9.99, for more details check out Window 7 Upgrade Offers on Amazon. Best Buy is offering the same upgrade offer, and I expect most merchants with pre-orders will soon follow suit.
nice info….looking forward to buy it and see the new advance features…
